As far as I know, you need for Google Stadia first of all an Internet connection that provides at least 25,000 kbit / s stable bandwidth. With such a connection, you can then play in Full HD resolution (1080p) at 60 FPS. More bandwidth gives you the option of streaming at higher resolution (WQHD / 4K) and / or higher performance (FPS), while endpoints need powerful displays.

Stadia needs the Google Chrome browser on the PC / MAC. Otherwise, you can use the service on TV and tablet if they use Android as the operating system. To play on TV is of course interesting for suitable games a game controller.

However, other games will require a keyboard and mouse as well as a PC monitor because they are designed for desktop PC and thus are designed to the corresponding monitors and the distance in which you sit as a user to the monitor. I use Steam to play my PC games on TV. The games are installed on my PC and are streamed to my TV via my home network. Legend of some games that are optimized on it and which is often synonymous for Xbox or Playstation works very well. In other games that are optimized for a desktop environment, I can often hardly recognize the menus and icons from the couch. If I play the same games directly at my desk on the PC that is not a problem since I also have a smaller monitor here and much closer to it.
