Can I delete the local folder from the PC after uninstalling Google Backup & Sync?

During an internship I should install Google Backup & Sync for the company and got access to the Google account. Then I downloaded the files and Google Backup & Sync automatically synchronized the data.

My internship is long over and I just uninstalled the Google Backup & Sync app from my laptop without worrying. Accordingly, the data are no longer synchronized. In the meantime, I also no longer have access to the company's Google account because the password has been changed.

However, I still have the local folder on my PC without their Google account and the Google Backup & Sync app. Can I easily delete the local folder from my PC without the company losing data? Actually nothing should happen because it is no longer connected.

However, when I hold the mouse over the folder, I see the notification: "Your Google Drive folder, which you synchronize with google". The change date of the folder has been since I deleted "Backup & Sync".

If you have access rights and the data is no longer needed - you can delete the folder at any time. You recognized it yourself correctly - the folder is no longer linked to the company. Since this was previously a sync folder, the mirror image of the folder exists in the company. So they definitely don't need your data anymore!
