I usually use Linux on my laptop & work computer, only Zoom does not run that well, so I set up a VM with Ubuntu 18.04 on my workstation. So far everything has gone quite well, but today Linux was greased first, then the VM, so everything was deleted and wanted to the new April 20, since the installation crashed all the time.
What experience do you have for good experiences with Distros on VMs?
Have you set up an Ubuntu VM on your Linux computer?
Which distro do you use as the "main distro"?
Could recommend Manjaro, this is going pretty well

Hi, sorry I forgot to mention that I don't like Mint.
All good 😉
My WS runs Windows because of music production and video editing, so I set up a VM there. Normally, as I said, I use a PC or laptop with Linux to program. My main bistro at the moment is Manjaro on the laptop, Linux Mint is running on my computer because the drivers for my Wi-Fi Stick are supported there (I like Mint but I don't like it, it runs very poorly (and I just don't like the UE)). Manjaro was not running well on the VM when I tested it…
Well you could test MX Linux or Fedora. Mx Linux comes from Debian, but has a lot more drivers, etc. To offer.
Hi sorry for the late feedback, have tested MX times, actually runs really damn well. I also found the reason why my VM stopped working: the Windows hypervisor, which I used for Android Studio, "blocked" the CPU virtualization a bit. Still installed MX and I like it quite well so far.
Fedora is actually not on the VM at all…
Cool that you like it:-)
