I have a smaller problem. I have a notebook with a CD drive in the CD drive, I have a DVD to a series that I look on from time to time and therefore it makes sense to me that the DVD is in there.
Now to my problem since the last Windows 10 update
Whenever I start the notebook, the CD drive itself opens. Then I have to close it and then automatically start the program to watch movies (clear startup) that I then have to close.
Can any of you tell me how to turn this off?
I do not want to turn off the autostart.
I just want to be able to boot up the notebook without the CD drive opening or I have to take out the DVD.
There's the rabbit in the pepper, I also have some things that do not run after the update. Probably this routine has been done to protect the disk. So that it does not get too hot in the device.
Seems to be a windows bug. Old updates install times, otherwise look in the BIOS to see if there's something to find
And if you can watch DVDs, it certainly is not a CD drive.

Ach CD stands for compact disc basically every disc that can be played is a compact disc (CD); D
You will not like the solution: install Linux.
Forget it, I've been messing around for 6 months. That can use who wants. I can't handle this.
