Hi, I have just removed the supervisor password on my Thinkpad in bios, then restarted and now I should enter a password again. The old one does not work and just does not ENTER. What else can I do?
How did you remove it? As stated in the instructions?
If you do not remember, you can only have the device restored by a Lenovo service provider.
I have changed the Supervisor Password in bios so to speak and then have entered as a password nothing and confirmed with ENTER
There seems to be a backdoor in these devices, and you can reset the device in a roundabout way. Are you looking in the search engine of your choice for "3 ways to unlock bios password". How serious this site is, I can hardly judge, but before you have to bring the device to service, it would be worth a try.
