Animal crossing new leaf broken?

My best friend has acnl and it just doesn't work with her no matter what she does. This error message always comes up. Can you possibly fix the game on the laptop?

If she cheated something every now and then she definitely changed the map but some things have to be taken into account e.g. No more or less than 6 stones on the card
