Hi, I'm a DJ, I've been doing this for about three quarters of a year. I have a ddj 1000, now my problem, when I connect my laptop powered by Windos, everything still works perfectly, but as soon as I connect the charging cable to it I have a slightly consumed sound and the boxes crackle too, someone knows how to get this out.
Try not to connect the power adapter from the laptop and the power adapter from the controller and the speakers to the same socket. If this is already the case, consciously connect it to the same socket. If that doesn't help either, make sure that the cables from the laptop and speakers don't cross.
Any cable that somehow carries power and or data can cause interference with other cables. I would buy better insulated cables and try the idea of DjTilDawn.
If the back corner of my memory doesn't deceive me… Isn't there a kind of "adapter" for audio or power cables in such cases that can eliminate interference? Or does that only concern the hum when there's no grounding? 🤔
Yes, these are hum terminators against mass hum. But they are primarily installed in cars.
