I have to fill out a document because I will be reimbursed for travel expenses for 20 days.
I checked it on my mobile phone using Google Maps and it says it is exactly 20km from my home to the place.
Now I've checked my laptop and it's only 19.8km.
Can I still take 20km or do I prefer the 19.8km? Both are exactly the same ways, I also don't know why something different comes out.
I get paid for the way per kilometer, so a difference of 200 meters is a bit more.
20km. The few meters should be within the tolerance.
I would round up to a clean 25Km. Whatever does not suit "them", they cut away anyway.
Okay, I also calculated that I would get 158.40 euro for 19.8km and for 20km I would get 160 euro, so only 1.60 euro more… Hopefully that won't matter.
Difference for 20 days * 0.2 kilometers = 4 kilometers * 0.30 (?) Euro
do you really think any clerk would worry about it?
I think 25km is fair, it always comes which way you take!
