Do I have to forward a package sent to me?

I bought an ipad on ebay classifieds and the one accidentally sent me another laptop. I asked him if that was the intention. (2 different packages)

He replied that the laptop should be to someone else and it was an oversight. Unfortunately, the Ipad was not a charging cable. I told him to send me a DHL label along with the charging cable and then I send the laptop on.

He did not answer me for 2 weeks. Meanwhile bought another charging cable. Attached a link with a GLS label that I should just show and then it will probably taken.
But I have no desire to drive into a very distant GLS shop, stand up and scan this code. I can simply hand over a franked DHL parcel to my company and have it taken away.

He threatens me now with a lawyer because I do not want to bring the package what he has sent to me to GLS (20KM far away)

I honestly do not feel like moving the package anymore and would rather let him pick it up.

Can one make it like this? Or am I obligated in any way to send the package with the desired shipping service? After all, it was addressed to me.

Al

You can do it for an allowance

Es

Offer him that he will pay you the shipping costs for a DHL package or ask him if you should send it to him unfree. Then he pays 15 euro.

Ch

That's exactly what I think!

"He threatens me now with a lawyer because I do not want to bring the package what he has sent to me to GLS (20KM far away)" - If you can prove this statement, then report without a comment due to threat, or coercion. End announcement.
I tell you: he's coming to pick up the laptop at supersonic speed!

De

Your duty is only to provide it for pickup and not refuse him. Everything else is niceness, so if you send it on for him.

Do not understand why he insists that you should drive 20 km to the nearest GLS shop. Did you say that it was too much and too stupid for you?

nu

GLS is cheaper ^^

Pl

If you should send it back to him unfree.

"unfree" exists since 1.7. No more.

Display due to threat or coercion

"I'll give that to my lawyer." is neither a threat nor a coercion. It is just stupid, superfluous, not effective, but certainly not criminally relevant.

Es

Really? Has passed me by. Pay also the postage, if I send something.
