2 aux interfaces on the laptop?

I'm considering buying a laptop. This has 2 aux interfaces. One shows a headset, the other a microphone. Does it mean that I can no longer use my headset that only has an AUX cable? (So the microphone from the headset?) Or can you continue to use it and the 2nd connection is only for an optional external microphone?

There are 2 versions - micro and headphones in one socket or in 2 sockets. Your headset only has one plug for micro and headphones?

there are jack adapters 2 → 1 and 1 → 2

Okay thank you very much! So I need a new headset that has a split cable or this adapter. Okay thanks! Is it actually an advantage to have such a separate "thing" or a disadvantage? Because until now I haven't felt any disadvantages to have just one? VG

If it is divided, then theoretically you can connect a speaker to the headphone output and a microphone to the other. Or headphones and microphone. Depending on what you want, one is seen as an advantage or a disadvantage. I don't care if I want it differently then I have a BT speaker or a USB speaker. Can you combine everything in windows anyway?

Okay thank you very much!
