I bought a notebook on which I want to play Guild Wars 2, but I have the above Problem. I felt like I've already tried everything, e.g. Gw2 Repair or switching off the antivirus program, router restart etc.
Everything runs without problems on my fixed computer.
Does anyone have any idea why?
Some of the downloaded files are much larger than others. This means that the remaining files remain unchanged for a longer period of time, but the amount of data downloaded (GB) increases.
In that case, it is enough to simply run the game launcher for a while.
Otherwise, if GW2 runs smoothly on your PC, you could simply copy the Gw2.dat file from the PC to the laptop.
The Gw2.dat file is in the same folder as the GW2.exe or Gw2-64.exe

So if I let it run it shows me ready afterwards, but the next time it starts it will download everything again.
Yes, otherwise it has to do so, only unfortunately I don't have the PC with me at the moment.
