Since after more than 7 years my laptop is slowly giving up my ghost, I'm looking for a replacement and would therefore be pleased with the recommendations of a little more knowledgeable person than I'm.
The device should be handy and as light as possible, have a fast processor and have a replaceable battery that works long without power supply via power supply.
Price wise, it should not go beyond 500 euro, but I still have some room in this regard.
And please no Mac! It was hard enough getting used to Windows 10.
"The device should be handy and as light as possible, have a fast processor and a replaceable battery, long without power supply via power supply."
That pretty much describes a business device for 1200-1500 euro.
That maybe… 4 cores 8 threads.
Low gaming possible, not like Intel

I do not need such an expensive one. Use the device mainly in my free time.
I just wanted to ask me what you can get for the given amount so in performance.
I would opt for a simple multimedia device with a processor from Intel Core i5 or something equivalent from AMD. Then 8 GB of RAM and an SSD, because this provides in comparison to a HDD again for a speed boost.
For example, if there were the following device from HP for 400 euro: https://www.notebooksbilliger.de/...g7+6hm83es
Installed here are an Intel Core i5-8265U, 8 GB RAM and a 256 GB SSD. The battery life amounts to according to data on up to 8 hours. How long the device really lasts, depends always on the own application. Is with 1.78 kg in my opinion, also relatively easy for a 15.6-inch device.
For 430 euro, I still came across this device: https://www.hwh.de/notebook/notebook-15/11896/hp-250-g7
The equipment is the same, say, also an i5-8265U, 8 GB of RAM and a 256 GB SSD. As far as the battery life is concerned, however, up to 12 hours are specified here. The weight is 1.8 kg.
If you think a 15.6-inch device is too big, here's another 14-inch device for 444 euro: https://www.cyberport.de/?DEEP=1C24-67G
Again, the above hardware is installed. The weight is 1.5 kg and it is given a battery life of up to 13 hours. A DVD burner is not installed compared to the two devices mentioned above. An external DVD drive does not cost the world.
There's no operating system on all devices, but you can get here Windows 10 for only 12.50 euro for example: https://www.mmoga.de/Software/Windows/Windows-10-Home-OEM.html
Otherwise, the only question is whether you have enough 256 GB of memory. Personally enough, I would prefer to use an SSD instead of an HDD.
