I have the following problem. Recently I was supposed to backup someone's pictures from a laptop on a USB. Since it's all about pictures, I've just copied everything and successfully copied to the USB stick. Now, in retrospect, I see that there's a lot missing. There were some folders that were named after a preview program, which are no longer displayed by the now missing preview program. I would like to delete the folder, however, I'm told there are still 4GB! Thereon. Is there a way to somehow convert this not visible for me 4GB or make it visible?
I would say, just let me have the preview program!
Just enter the extension of the filename of the images that indicates the image format in Google.
Since we would be the problem. Since the images were first displayed without problems on the stick and now the whole folder are gone, I have no idea which extension or How the program was called.
Open the stick with the explorer, but before unlock hidden files and folders under windows 10:
1. Open folder options in Windows 10. First, call the folder options.
2. Open the "View" tab…
3. Show hidden files…
4. Hidden files and order will be displayed.
Additionally, click on the tab "View" in the upper area. Select the "Show / Hide" section here and check the box under "File Name Extensions"

Thank you so much!
Now I'm confused. Are the pictures still there?
And what's the name behind the point?
e.g. Image.jpeg is a jpeg file format that most computers can view.
