Strange noises from laptop?

My laptop is making strange noises. It's very quiet, but does it sound like anything electric? Here is the sound recording:

What could that be?

Where exactly are the noises coming from?

Gl

At the top right, I think that's where the graphics card and power supply unit might be. But I'm not 100% sure

Something has probably gotten into the fan and when you press off the touchpad, you continue to press it into the fan.

The fan is not on the touchpad, it is at the top right where the noise is coming from, there's the graphics card and the power supply, I think?!

If so, then those are simply the voltage converters. When current flows through the voltage converters, they start to vibrate. This also shows that the manufacturer saved money and did not use resin to fix / glue the voltage transformers. This phenomenon is called coil whine. Coil whine is not harmful and I have it myself on my desktop PC, i.e. On my graphics card.

Ok weird

Many thanks for the answer! Can this possibly damage the laptop? Because the question that arises for me right now is whether I should have it repaired or whether it is better to return the laptop because it is brand new…

Unfortunately, I can't tell you how it is with laptops. For graphics cards that you e.g. With desktop Pc's you know, coil whine is nothing harmful!
