I have a big problem. I have just written a little essay on my laptop at Word 2007. Now it is the case that the battery was empty and Word apparently did not save the file. The problem is that I was almost done and that was hard work. As I said, an essay just. Is there a way to get the file back, otherwise I'm really delivered.
Actually, Word 2007 should make backups again and again, look best in your Word Order (where Word is installed) and see if something exists there.
You should cache a file in between times. At some point you do it all the time out of habit. For this it is sufficient to press the key combination "Ctrl + S".
Go in Word top left on the file icon. There you should see your last used documents and at the bottom a button with the inscription Restore unsaved documents. You could even try it, if the file can still be saved.
Here are some tips.

Unfortunately, no. Nothing of what I did new. I do not understand that
Although I do not use Word, the program should have an automatic save and backup feature.
Since every few minutes automatically a backup of the active file should be created.
Maybe you can go back to that.
