Camera pressure in school?

At school (currently homeschooling) we have a teacher who compulsively insists on using digital cameras in order to be able to see the respective pupil in the case of digital convergences, but there are some pupils (including myself) who are involved in this compulsory camera feel disturbed of their privacy. He tolerates no exceptions and orders students without a webcam to borrow a laptop from school. No other teacher uses the camera, and even less insists on using it. So my question is to what extent these measures are legally compliant and whether we really need to turn on our cameras.

I can't give you any legal evidence, but as far as I know, the student MUST NOT put up a camera as long as he doesn't want to.

They can't force you to do it. At the beginning homeschooling was forbidden in DE so there was no law for it.

If the teachers didn't do it, I wouldn't do it either.

Not everyone has a laptop / pc

Do you pull a garbage bag over your head at school? No? Then why can't you turn on the camera in digital school? The teacher does too.

Apart from that: It won't be long anyway, why are you getting upset now?

But to answer your question, when the going gets tough, you probably don't have to. Only if some students push hard to sabotage the efforts of the teachers, others should not be surprised if some teachers then offer nothing in the direction and leave the students alone with the material. 😉

Do you always sit behind an awning at school so that nobody sees you?

You can also pee on every shot.

Digital convergences sound compulsively like the Gbrüder Grimm

Do you sit in front of the camera in an online job interview with unkempt hair? And that's what we call digital native…
