Discord notifications even though they are switched off?

I'm part of a couple of channels, but I almost never use them. But I don't want to leave these channels either

That's why I muted them. Even though I muted these channels, I still get notifications

I use Discord on both my phone and my PC. But I only get the muted channels on my laptop

Switching to mute doesn't seem to work. What can you do instead?

I just want certain channels to be mute, messages shouldn't be mute

Have you muted the category and not the individual channels?
