About midi keyboards?

I wanted to start making music… Unfortunately I'm already having problems now. 😞 I bought a midi keyboard. It arrived today. It says: "Icon ikeyboard 6" I connected it to my windows laptop. There comes the problem that it is not displayed well in the control panel. Or. It says there's a problem. Then I made a problem diagnosis… Still nothing helped. There I was supposed to restart my laptop. So I shut it down and turned it on again but no… It's still the same as before. The sad thing is that I have to install it somehow with the CD that came with it. So with the driver CD. And nothing works there either. Does anyone know what I can do? It can't be broken. It is new and when I connect it to the laptop the buttons light up when I press it. 😞

Did you just get this message or did you try it in the DAW?

Have a look in the device manager to see what is listed there. There you can uninstall the part. Then plug it into another port without manually installing drivers. Windows should do this itself, or the software with which the keyboard is used.
