Uni laptop for programming?
I asked the same question an hour ago, but now I only have the choice between 2 notebooks:

Which one would you choose?
Is much more flexible. You can do more with it than with the Intel iGPU.
Forms the better overall package.
If you are looking for a computer for programming, there are only two criteria to consider:
1. The monitor must be large so that you always have a good view of your development environment and
2. It must be very fast and have a large amount of RAM (ideally 8 GB RAM)
but the optimal work does not come with the hardware, but with your developer software.
I myself would not take either of these, but an ACER laptop with a very long guarantee (36 to 48 months) on the battery and good support, and as little clipped trial software as possible. The internal disk doesn't have to be that big either, because you put your important things on external drives.
