Used laptop purchased - found in ssd recovery hacker stuff - how am I safe from viruses?

I bought yesterday evening an old Lenovo Thinkpad for programming and playing around. As a hobby ITler you first look at what was on it before and zack. Many add-ons and stuff from World of Warcraft - more a miracle that you can gamble with the junk laptop and lots of hacker stuff.

Trojan kit, Python scripts, dark Comat, etc. I found there yet.

How am I now sure that there's not a Trojan on it and he reads everything?

Is it just enough to overwrite all patitions from the hard drive or do I have to rewrite Windows? Am I really save then?

jo

I would reset Windows once (and I would be interested in such a thing so I can see how it works and how to trick it)

Lo

Read hard disks or create Trojans? You can google both. But everything is to be treated with caution.

jo

I would like to build the Trojans to see how they work and how they work, etc

"Is it enough to overwrite all patitions from the hard drive?"

Yes, deleting the partitions and rebuilding is completely sufficient. Pure (fast) formatting of all partitions is enough as well.

"or do I have to reset Windows."

You have to be forced out of the fact that if you have deleted all partitons, you will no longer need an operating system.

"Am I really save then?"

Ri

The things you can easily pull in the Inet.

Lo

Then google times then

jo

Easily? Dark comet z.b. Not allowed right now

Ri

You may use Trojan cases in Germany legally, unless you do so to spread the Trojans to third parties (who disagree).

jo

To my knowledge, dark comet was not allowed
