Why is my laptop screen flickering all the time?

Have had a Lenovo laptop for 2 years. It's actually in top condition, but the screen keeps flickering. Should I have it repaired or can I sort it out myself?

Swap both monitors for each other: If the same one still flickers, it is the monitor and not the signal source. If the monitor does this, it will not be worth repairing in a specialist workshop. But you can use it to go to a Repair Cafe because often only defective capacitors are the cause… And you can get them exchanged for a few euro + a small donation. Then he should run again:-)
