My Lenovo Thinkpad 480s has a telecom SIM card for mobile internet connection. System: Windows 10.
Unfortunately, the PIN entry always disappears as soon as more than two digits are entered. It is only possible to unlock the card by copying the four digits and quickly clicking on "Connect", but it really has to be done very quickly.
Does anyone know how to solve the problem?
Through my research I came across a 2016 post (https://www.winboard.org/threads/windows-10-sim-pin-kann-nicht-mehr-eingegeben-werden.263751/) where someone had the same problem. Unfortunately without a solution.

Proposed solution: deactivate the PIN.
