Does anyone know of a good source from which I can download a ModBios for the Lenovo ThinkPad T420? More specifically, it is about ModBios version 1.52, with which The whitelist is removed.
You can usually only download this from Lenovo.
There are probably BIOS updates from the manufacturer but certainly no mods. 😉 If you did, you could have saved yourself whitelist and Co. Yes from the start. My T420s also run with a ModBios, with which i.a. The whitelist has been removed.
I would probably have to "downgrade" my T420 first and then flash it with the modem BIOS. It is primarily about removing the whitelist and upgrading the RAM to 16GB. So now look for a relatively current mod.
