Hi
I'm (as you can see from my other questions) looking for the right laptop.
Now I have the problem that I can only find my desired specs in models with 13.3 inches…
The ThinkPad L13 yoga has everything I want except for the display.
Therefore, here is a small survey of what you think.
What do you think are 13.3 inches too small for the work (electronics technician, which also means coding something or layouting a PCB) and maybe playing something in the evening
Because I actually wanted a 15-inch model, but unfortunately it doesn't come with my wishes.
Oh yes, and please no nice advice like that I can just as well take this or that notebook. Because I like Lenovo and its ThinkPad keyboard + robustness of a laptop)
Thank you for your answers. (and if you are already reading the question, vote a little short, because each of you has a laptop and his opinion on it.
For the road I currently use 14 "(Thinkpad T495), but I also worked on 12.5" (Thinkpad X240) for a while. I don't really see the size as a disadvantage, because it keeps the device small and mobile
If more space / a larger screen is needed, you can still connect an external screen
At 13 'you don't need to buy a laptop - you can also take a tablet.
So I have a 15.6 inch Lenovo ThinkBook and it is extremely pleasant
Yes, but unfortunately I will have no other choice… XD
I'm an architecture student and I also use my HP envy 13 inch to create CAD models (3d models).
When I got a 13 inch device, I thought that I would only use it on the go, because it was much too small, but I found that the long battery life and the weight of only 1kg also offer a pleasant flexibility in the apartment. Sometimes I just stay in bed and work there, sometimes at my desk, in the afternoons I like to work on the couch or in the garden.
Always on the same device and always without even realizing whether you are reading a book or a laptop.
What surprised me most was how close the footprint comes to A4 ^^
Thank you, I will have to hold it in my hand. Wasn't it a problem for you because of eyes or something?
You get used to it, and if the display is good you don't notice any difference. At the beginning I also thought I needed the number pad but after 2-3 weeks you get used to everything ^^
Take something small, and then a 24 "or 27" monitor, plus a BT mouse / keyboard combo. It's cheap. So you can work great with it.
Sorry, there are hardly any tablets in 12/13 ". Android will fall out because of the software. IOS is VERY expensive. Okay, Surface fits and is really good.
Sorry, there are many tablets in 12/13. You already contradict yourself in your own statement. Other examples would be the iPad Pro, Fujitsu or Lenovo also offer devices.
Well, it's just that such a screen is not so portable and since I'm doing an apprenticeship, I can't set up entire monitors there xD
Well, I'm sorry, but we have surfaces at school… So 1. Your performance is really not good and 2. The damn things only have a USB xD that is totally annoying… At least another Thunderbolt or, for me, n USB type c…
No, not always, but at home.
