Playing despite not enough VRAM?

I wanted to play Stardew Valley with my sister, so first I checked the website Can I run it to see if it was possible. My laptop has all the minimum requirements except for the VRAM. Unfortunately, I'm not familiar with it at all and therefore wanted to ask whether I could still play the game. I have a Lenovo Yoga530 with an 8th generation Intel Core i5. The website tells me that I have 128mb vram but need 256mb.

That should definitely work.

If you can increase the BIOS, it should really only be set to 128MB

You can also look it up in the TaskManager, for example

128 mb vram is really bad if you really want to play then screw down the resolution
