Not for me, but for my parents.
Since the local newspaper has raised the price, my parents are considering switching the subscription to digital.
Does anyone even have any experience as to whether reading works with varifocals on the computer? Would it make more sense to buy a tablet? PC is in the house, but at least my mother doesn't like reading at all.
The part would actually only be intended to read the newspaper, possibly to order eBooks for Kindle.
I appreciate every opinion.
So I would think a decent tablet makes more sense. Much more mobile with. Much more convenient. And if it should be a notebook, I would advise against it from Lenovo. They put way too much junk on it, and it looks like its own "Lenovo Windows version".
For reading newspapers etc. The laptop is sufficient. Surfing and office is also possible. However, a tablet would be more pleasant to read. It is more "mobile".
Buy an iPad 2019. Costs just as much and is more fun and more appropriate.
Do you think the switch from still Win 7 (on the computer) to Win 10 could be overwhelming?
Own experience:-) Do you read a daily newspaper on the iPad with varifocals?
I read a lot with the iPad and yes, I have varifocals and get along very well.
OK, thank you for the information.
A friend of mine doesn't get along with varifocals and therefore has 2 glasses. One for proximity to read and one for distance. You just have to try it.
