Hey can anyone tell me which laptop is better? The msi? Or the Lenovo?
Hmm, both relatively similar: MSI has the better graphics card but less RAM…
What is the ram good for?
This: Lenovo Legion Y540-17IRH-PG0, 81T3000PGE notebook
RAM stop. When it runs full, everything becomes slower, or everything that is not absolutely necessary is sorted out
The Msi has more gaming power but quite marginal ram, the lenovo much ram but less gaming power…
The memory stores data that runs in the background and foreground.
the storage is 1,000 times faster than an hdd, so you can see, move and edit the content smoothly and, depending on the size, have many things parralel open or working in the background.

is this better?
It also has the worse graphics
I'm pretty unsure about the Lenovo laptop. I bought one 3 years ago and it had to be repaired 3 times during the 2-year guarantee period due to defective fans, mainboard, battery etc.
The same problems again and again… And now the fan, the operating system and the battery are gone again.
Doof… ☹️
which of the 3 would you advise me then?
To gamble?
I'm not the greatest gamer and i don't like ego shooter (motion sickness) but i like browser games and android emulator games. It is important to me that it has good graphics and a lot "endures". Games should run smoothly and I should be able to open several internet browser tabs (e.g. Netflix film in one and in the other youtube, facebook etc.) without crashing.
so should be a good and stable laptop.
It should already be 17 inches and I also want a powerful laptop that just doesn't break so quickly under "load". I paid my current 630 euro 3 years ago but it really couldn't even withstand the emulator without overheating and crashing (lenovo ideapad 110-17ikb)
this time it has to be a stable laptop.
If you know what you're buying, you save hundreds of euro. I will send you a link to a 17er
The ram can be expanded if necessary

Games like Fortnite, GTA5 etc. Don't really run well on them.
Android emulators shouldn't be a problem.
It has the most modern processor in the world, which increases the runtime enormously. The CPU is twice as powerful as my desktop PC.
ps: you could order right away
You could also simply swap the hard drive in your lenovo, it is loud in your lenovo and consumes a lot of electricity.
does your lenovo have 4 or 8gb?
4 would be too little for what you do

makes your lenovo more economical and significantly cooler, it starts 6 times faster and everything can be operated smoothly.
I have always had good experiences with Lenovo so far, I would take the Lenovo off my hands because of the performance
Have fun playing
Random access memory. You should upgrade (have it), since usually only 1 module is installed, which costs you performance. Accelerated my MSI again properly. And if you want to play with it, 8GB are already borderline these days… Unfortunately.
