Whenever I take screenshots on the laptop with Windows 10 with the key combination (Windows + Print), these are recorded by cutting and sketching and saved in the clipboard, so that I have to paste each screenshot somewhere myself so that it is not deleted again afterwards becomes. But I would have liked to have saved the screenshots directly in a folder. Allegedly there's a folder called screenshots or screen recordings for pictures. But this is not the case with me. I'm using a fairly new Lenovo laptop. I ask for quick help.
XD the picture is saved but in a different folder, you have to take a closer look where
For such a function you need an extra program with which you can take screenshots.
Here is a link to it:
Use a screenshot program. X-shot saves right away where you have specified.
Normally the procedure is correct Windows - key + pressure saves the screenshot directly as an image.
These are saved under "Pictures" / "Screen recordings".
However, it may be that with full screen programs such as PC games or a running video, none is made.
Press the Windows key + E or open Windows Explorer. There you will find a picture folder in which the screenshots are saved.
If you only want to have a certain area as a screenshot, you can also use the Snipping Tool available in Windows. Simply search for it using the Windows search. You can then save the images directly in a location of your choice.
Personally, I take screenshots quite often and in this case I would recommend the free program ShareX (https://getsharex.com/), which uploads the screenshot directly and inserts a link to share on your clipboard. And if necessary, you can specify a folder in which the images are also saved.
There are tons of other options in the program as well. You can also record videos and GIFs with the program, for example. Then there are tons of automated setting options where you can specify what should happen after the screenshot. You can also edit the pictures. You can also combine functions with keys or key combinations.
