I have a headset but my computer does not recognize it. When I go to the sound settings and then to the sound Control Panel is not displayed when recording in the headset…
That really annoys me. It's a headset with a jack connector and it should work on my laptop. Can someone help me please
More information please, laptop headset operating system.
So my laptop is the acer nitro 5 and I have Windows 10 and no headset is recognized no matter which one I connect. It doesn't appear anywhere.
And it is not displayed when it is played back either. It says that my speaker is selected, but that can't be because it comes from my microphone
Are the latest drivers installed? Is acer software installed? Have you checked the sound settings yet? Manage audio devices and troubleshoot them?

Thank you very much, but I think I have the problem. I think my jack connection is broken. I plugged in a USB headset from my parents to test it and it worked. I will just buy an adapter jz
