Roll cable?

We have our projector in the middle of the room under the ceiling hanging, the laptop (which is always on and unplugged) is directly below on a table. Is there a way to get some sort of cable drum for the video cable (HDMI or analogue), so that the cable, if not plugged in, is pulled up and can be pulled out as needed like with a normal cable drum? So that the cable is tidied up, if times no Laptop is attached.

there are obviously. But apparently untested I would be easy to tinker a Halterun to the beamer about which I wrap the cable 2-4x.

I've never seen an HDMI cable drum before. There's at most such a curly cable (as from the telephone handset), which is e.g. Could put on the projector when it is just not needed.

A better variant, I think, however, if in the table so a hinged terminal block is installed. If it is needed, you can open it up and connect the laptop, if it is not needed, you just shut it up again. However, a long HDMI cable must be routed invisibly from the terminal block to the projector.

I do not know a cable reel for HDMI cable. Maybe a radio transmission is an alternative, for example

But I do not have any personal experience with it.
