There are these: refurbished notebooks. These are used, which are processed a bit and then sold cheaply. For example, you should find quite a few models from Dell. I like the keyboards of Dell notebooks, have a Dell latitude and can type very well. Maybe you have to make some compromises in weight but otherwise you can get a top model from 2015 for a small buck. That's enough to work and there run all the ide's on it.
