The situation:

You need a service where you only have to register (for work, school or private) for a certain period of time. After that, you don't delete it, but leave it open in case you need it in the future.

Example: You needed the Epic Games Launcher when Fortnite was hype to install it. Then the hype about Fortnite subsides and in the meantime you have also bought a new laptop / computer where you have not installed the Epic Game Launcher, but the account still exists.

Then close the account
