Use touchpad as graphics pad?

I asked myself whether the existing touchpad on a laptop could not be used as a graphics pad. All you need is a touch pen. The only problem is that the touchpad is not absolutely set, so you have to swipe to move the mouse instead of clicking where you want the mouse to go.

Does jmd know whether you can adjust the iwie or is there a suitable software to convert it?
