I have to admit that I don't really know what's on the market right now, but since my laptop (with the NVIDIA) now has a defect and has to be sent in within the warranty period… I have to keep working in the meantime, however now I looked for a second laptop.
First of all, I don't want to play big high-end games with it. I'm only concerned with image processing and smaller 3D works (images, no animations, or the like). And of course the well-known office applications. I've been more than satisfied with NVIDIA so far, so how good are the two cards compared to each other?
The Ryzen 5 3500U is a CPU and not a GPU. But if you mean the integrated Radeon RX Vega 8 as a comparison then the Vega graphics should have about half as much performance as the 950M.

Yes, exactly that. Hm, ok, then I'd rather have a look there again. Because it should be something comparable, or better. But since a long repair period has already been announced to me, I really have to look for something in a timely manner.
