What do you need for youtube and how much would it cost?
Have a laptop, Xbox One S and a Nintendo Switch. With my laptop I can't cut properly because it mostly crashes and thumbnails I take with Gimp.
To answer your question in general: Nothing, a cell phone is enough.
Depending on what content you want to upload, you will of course need appropriate hardware.
When did you need anything special for YT? One I-Net access and one computer is enough.
Most importantly, a good microphone. Also a concept of what you want to do. A webcam is useful at the beginning, but not particularly necessary.

Then you don't need anything. You just have to hear you and see the gameplay. (Unless you don't want to talk.) You can record gameplay on the XBox and then cut it. Or you upload it without a cut
I can recommend an entire headset to you. It has such a good microphone that can hold out with 120 euro microphones (https://www.lioncast.com/produkt/lx20-gaming-headset/), it is still so cheap.
