I have an MSI GP62 SQE Leopard Pro NoteBook here.
Since everything is pretty cheap at the moment, I got a Samsung 970 Evo 1TB NVMe SSD and wanted to replace it with my old M.2.
After I removed the M.2 SSD and wanted to install the 970 Evo, I noticed that it somehow didn't fit. Although the connection of the 970 Evo seems to be just as wide as the M.2, it still does not fit properly into the connection.
Unfortunately, I didn't find out in a hurry whether this NoteBook is compatible at all.
Hence my question whether this NoteBook is compatible.
M.2 is M.2. You have to push the latch into the socket at an angle to the PCB and only then press it parallel to the board, then there should be a screw for fastening.
