Hi. So I'm looking for a new laptop that runs smoothly. I don't want to have to wait like my old 10min until I finally get on the internet because it starts up forever. I found MacBooks on eBay for about 300 euro but they are mostly from 2011/12. Is it worth it because Apple should be very good with laptops. Or is it worth buying a Windows then (not a good experience)
Even Apple's boot up forever if they don't have an SSD.
You may be thinking about a new Chromebook. Mine started up when I opened it - from the off state, not from standby.
I have had very good experiences with Macbook pro 2010.
I resold the MB 2010 and use it side by side
an MBpro 2011 and a
MBAir 2011. I got the MBAir a few days ago with a new one
Have the battery equipped (Rep. 180 euro).
The MBpro has the advantage that it has a Superdrive (DVD) built in.
This makes it possible for me to watch DVDs, CDs, even at home
play or burn.
Since I work with Windows, OS X and Linux, I have one
objective look.
In addition, I have already repaired many devices.
All operating systems have advantages, with me
Prioritize the reliability of Apple Macbooks.
Especially with windows 10 I had several bad experiences, but also one
quality:
An SSD drive removed and placed in a housing and connected via USB, could be booted immediately.
That was not possible with previous Microsoft BSmen.
Comment on that, at Apple it has been going since I got into the topic
can deal with.
Since the MBAir also uses SSD, you can wake it up, just like with Win 10.
My suggestion, buy and try it.
