I want to be a movie producer, that means I need a laptop for my purposes. Good performance, a lot of online applications, mails.
What do you recommend? Should I be in the macbook direction?
To be honest, which laptop you need for this job is roughly number 1000 in the list of priorities. Virtually every laptop should run Excel and Project (or some other project control software), and these should be the essential programs a producer needs.
If you want to be a movie producer, the right laptop is the least of your problems. By the way, I want to become a dentist, which one is the best? Is a good Dremel enough?

As a producer, you can take whatever you want, including a turnip.
The actual work is done by others (eg video editing, sound etc.) and not by the producer.
So a nasty 400-500 euro laptop with 8GB of RAM and SSD is enough. In addition a normal CPU (no Intel Celeron / Pentium or Intel Atom or AMD Ax-xxxx).
