I have to buy a new notebook in front of me. Currently I have a "cheap" for 300 euro and I'm not 100% satisfied, which is logical for the price, I know.
Since I have no idea about the technology stuff, I need a little expert help. Price class is in the title, I need the notebook for college stuff and work. So it should all run office very smoothly, even with some large Excel files, etc. MacBook is not a question for me.
You get for about 450 euro already notebooks that come into question. (i5 8.Gen, 8GB RAM, SSD)
Even a notebook for 250 euro is actually absolutely sufficient.
It is important when buying that an SSD is installed.
So in principle you can spend 400-500 euro or you are looking for one with good design or good battery life for up to 800 euro, that's up to you. In question come as felt 100 models.
If you only need the notebook for the university, I can recommend a Chromebook, but Internet access is also recommended. But since you said that you need Office, we unfortunately get past Windows badly.
My recommendation:
400 euro:

700 euro:

600 euro:
Thank you for your prompt reply. That with the SSD has come to my mind already. The design I do not care, a notebook has to work and should win design competitions.
Are there any minimum requirements you would give me along the way?
Generally, that's very difficult to say. For this you look best at the best list of CHIP.
I would recommend the following notebook from you: https://www.chip.de/...62069.html
But only if you really want to reach the budget. For the university there are also devices for about 400 euro.
But one thing you should pay attention in any case… There should be at least 128 GB SSD installed.
If you tell me your other requirements for the device (display size, connections, …), I can give you a "more accurate" tip.
Thank you for your prompt reply! Currently I have 15.6 'and that is very sufficient, so no way bigger, can also be a little smaller, would not be a problem. Connections would be important to me only HDMI, everything else does not matter. Otherwise, my technical skills are also very limited, I have no idea of graphics cards, processors, etc.
So for Excel and Co, not much power is needed. If you want to rest for the next few years, I would like to look at the following: at least one i5 8th generation, at least 8GB RAM, SSD (if necessary, additional HDD as a data grave or even large SSD), Full HD Display.
This would be the cheapest, which should come into question: If I'm not mistaken you can even add another hard drive without problems, if the 2xxGB are not sufficient.

Windows is not preinstalled, but a legal license does not cost 20 euro and the installation usually takes 15-30 minutes and is quite simple.
Yes, exactly, then wanted to rest for a few years, which I can work properly with the device. Thanks for the advice, I will even look for yourself with your criteria.
So for less than 500 euro, the device is certainly solid, but just in the lower limit: https://www.chip.de/...25133.html
If you want to have a little bit longer from your notebook: https://www.chip.de/...08679.html But with this device you should know that you have to use the HDMI adapter included.
If you want to stretch the budget, I can only recommend this again: https://www.chip.de/...62069.html
Whatever you decide… Have fun with your new device.
No problem. I would simply enter the criteria on miser, this is definitely the cheapest model.
If you have not bought one yet, you might want to take a look at it: MEDION AKOYA P17601
