Not even the Amazon customer service can help me, I thought maybe someone of you know something about it.
I have a Macbook (MacOS Mojave 10.14.2) and can't play videos on Amazon Prime Video. On Safari I only see that the video is not available. I have already tried other browsers (Chrome and Firefox) and it does not work for anyone. I do not use VPN or similar. I do not know if I need Silverlight, I used to have it on my laptop from the beginning, but it does not work anyway, whether I installed it or not. Incidentally, the problem has been around for some time, so it's not up to a recent software update. Safari I use version 12.0.2. If that's important.
Can it possibly be on the internet? All other sites work, including Netflix. And my roommate uses the same Amazon account and the same Wi-Fi network with her MacBook and it works on her too. What could that be? I'm really startled.
