My Macbook is no longer connecting to my Magic Trackpad 1st Gen.
At the time I gave it to my girlfriend and she connected it to her Macbook. She did not use it afterwards. I read somewhere that the old trackpads can only connect to one device. The problem is that she sold her laptop.
Is there a way to fix the problem?
The trackpad needs to be reset.

It may also be enough to remove the batteries for a few minutes.
