Macbook storage space?

My Acer notebook is slowly giving up, and since I have an Iphone, Ipad, Watch, Airpods, etc., I have decided to buy a Macbook. Now I see, you get for about 4500 euro only 500GB storage space. This seems to me, however, despite the generally high prices at Apple quite disproportionate, since I have paid at Acer for 1TB only about 1500 euro. Are the prices really that extreme? Or am I overseeing something? Is 500GB memory enough?

I'm not an expert on apple, but I think that's because the MacBook

Other strengths has what you do there

Apple's policy is that you use and pay for your ICloud anyway. The difference between 500 GB and a Terra is in practice about 30 euro.

I pay 10 / month to Microsoft for a Terra (Office 365), but still have the entire Office suite that I can install it on five different devices and can be used both on Mac (Office), IPad (road) smartphone features for the money access it from Android and Windows (at home).

Privately, I would probably rather grow an external hard drive

You can upgrade to 4 TB, but then you are at 6,399.00 to 6,659.00 Eur (15 "). The 13" model is the cheapest version with upgrade to max. 1 TB at 2.499,00 Eur and the most expensive 13 "variant (different processor, different display, touchbar) at 3.499,00 Eur (with 2 TB).
