It's about buying an iPad Pro or a MacBook Pro for school and stuff.
I currently have a PC (Ryzen 5 2600, gtx 1070ti, so pretty strong). But I need something portable. Although I already have a Windows laptop, but this is for anything unusable, apart from watching videos.
So I need a new device. Now the question is if I would rather buy an iPad Pro (with Apple Pencil) or a MacBook Pro. And yes we're allowed to use the devices in the school and also have Wi-Fi suburb. The iPad would then replace my work sheets and copybooks. The MacBook Pro can't do this. For this it can execute correct computer programs (Office and also IntelliJ, thus a Java development environment). But I would have a computer for that too.
What would you do? And if you have the iPad, what's it like working with it?
I would definitely take the MacBook. The Mac is still the best Apple has to offer and is not comparable to either an iPad or a Windows computer.
I also bought an iPad Pro 11 ", but it is more of a tablet rather to consume and not to produce, even if it is Apple else It is difficult to work with, because much is so simple but also unprofessional I do not know about you but I can write much faster with my keyboard than with my hand - an iPad 2018 would also be loose enough it does not have to be a pro.
The problem is that we also have to edit worksheets at school, which would not work with the MacBook. Besides, I do not know if it's OK if I type everything instead of handwritten: /
Here I would install on the incompetent Windows laptop additionally a powerful operating system like the free current Linux Mint - you should be well prepared then. Deepin Linux is also a second-system option, which is similar to MacOS.
