Looking for a laptop with 8750H CPU?

I'm looking for a practical as possible workhorse with 15.6 inches. The CPU should have 6 cores, since I work a lot with video editing and have 16GB RAM or 8GB RAM with upgrade option. The Macbook Pro 15 "would of course be perfect if it were not so expensive (bin student), the laptop should not be too thick, too loud or too bad battery capacity Max budget 1200 euro.

I think about installing Hackintosh so I can use Final Cut.

It's best to look at miser, because you can filter according to your own criteria:

With your information, I find only one notebook and that the HP Gaming Pavilion 15-cx0004ng.

But you can play around with the filter criteria so a little and see if there's a better option for you.

Would leave the fingers of Macs even if it irritates so much.

Most of the notebooks that you can buy are combinations of Intel CPU and Nvidia graphics card that works better for DV editing. An AMD Ryzen Mobile with AMD GPU would be the better option here because the integrated Intel graphics does not bring the power for video editing. Similarly, many Intel processors have problems (see Meltown, Specter, TLS, Intel ME, etc.) if you google it, you will find tons of money with no reason to use intel.

For an AMD Ryzen Mobile APU, this link would be interesting to see the whole thing.

If you scroll down the page, you will find links to models in almost every price range. But if you can still wait, you should delay a few weeks of purchase because AMD wants to bring out new mobile processors 2019. According to announce the new AMD Ryzen 3000 models are to be manufactured on 7nm (announced in 2019 and will be presented there at the CES in the next few days) and the mobile division should then be supplied accordingly. The first graphics cards have already AMD with 7nm production outside and the new Vega or Vega II models are also manufactured on 7nm.

Intel is shooting around at 14 / 12nm and Nvidia is not much better either.

Yes, I had already considered, but 6 cores are better than 4. My Standpc has a Ryzen 1700 @ 3.7 GHz and RX 580th I'm looking forward to 7nm. Vll I'm lucky if I wait a bit, half a year I have time to think.

I also think I want to get the Ryzen 3850X when it comes. My old 1800s will be retired. He worked long enough on OC with 4.0 GHZ:-)

The current Ryzen Mobile are all 4 Kerner except for one or 2 models with only 2 cores. A 6 core Mobile will be hard to find and if it would be so expensive that would not be worthwhile.

Unfortunately no 6 Kern Ryzen: /. Vll is still something…
