I bought a laptop especially so that I could cut my videos in 4K in the future. But now that I've heard a lot, I'm no longer sure whether the 16 GB RAM is enough to process in 4K / 30 or 4K / 60 FPS.
So now my question: Are the 16 GB RAM sufficient? Or should it have been 32 GB for 4K? Is the 16 GB enough for 2.7K?
32GB RAM and two fast SSDs are ideal
32GB is clearly the better choice.
As you can check for yourself, it will be enough for simple assembly on a few tracks. Especially if the software works with proxy files. For more complex things you would have to keep an eye on the RAM as well as the GraKa.
