How can I ship a laptop internationally?

I'm currently in New Zealand and would like to have my laptop sent by my parents (not too expensive).

However, this is made more difficult by parcel services like DHL, which on demand say that they do not ship laptops worldwide because of the lithium battery they use.

Incidentally, the battery is firmly installed and can't be removed.

Then take out the battery and then there's no problem. You can buy a battery at any time.

Oh, I forgot to mention that the battery is firmly installed.

Bl

Yes, batteries must not be sent.

(My answer specifically refers to DHL)

There's supposedly in the EU abroad the "trick" with the help of a special document on the battery and shipping as an express. Otherwise, however, you have, to my knowledge, no chance to ship anything with battery Worldwide. Also Express is not possible because you can only send documents by express worldwide.

The parcels are screened and the shipment would return, which is why one can't dizzy with the customs declaration. I have already had to hand over some packages that came back, because inadmissible content, here batteries, have been sent (partly with false information in the customs declaration). These customers did not find an alternative afterwards; at least not those I asked or told me so. By the way, the shipping costs are also gone.

So to my knowledge there's no possibility from DHL.

Yes, DHL is here. Private customers right "rabid". Take a look at UPS.
