At the moment I'm still a student and am looking for a suitable notebook for school because my old laptop is getting on in years.
I know a little bit about technology, but I would like to get advice from experts.
My criteria are:
FullHD (1920x1080, i.e. 16: 9) IPS display
NO dedicated graphics card (I think this is overkill for office and the like and only increases power consumption)
Good webcam (and microphone)
16GB dual channel RAM
Ryzen 4000 CPU (I heard that they work very efficiently thanks to the 7nm technology)
At least 500GB SSD storage
I want to keep the laptop as long as possible, which is why I have 16GB RAM set as a requirement.
I don't have an exact budget, but below 1000 euro would be nice.
Take a look at the Schenker VIA 15 Pro
https://bestware.com/de/schenker-via-15-pro.html
Extremely strong CPU and very long battery life
Or a little cheaper
ThinkPad E14 Gen 2.
Working animals, robust and durable. Also nothing soldered. I just love my ThinkPad, I currently have the L series.
The above has the current Ryzen 4XXX series in it.
Is the display of the 2nd laptop really good enough? The reviews said something about it being too dark.
Probably got a defective display. Just over 300cd / m² are measured in all reviews
OK thanks. I think I choose the Schenker notebook because I like it very much.
Definitely a very good choice. But make sure that you select 2x8GB with 3200MHz in the configurator for RAM
In addition, you should order it without an SSD, since these are expensive there. The best way to order the SSD is from Mindfactory or similar, for example the Silicon Power P34A80 1TB

Windows is cheap at MMOGA

So no SSD and no Windows? Then I would have to unscrew the laptop too, because I don't know much about it.
Jup, without SSD and Windows, saves quite a bit of money. And don't worry, it's easy to install the SSD
I have two more questions.
1. Is this page (MMoga) safe or the Windows key from there?
2. Is this tutorial correct / good?
1) Jup. I already bought a few keys (Windows / Office / Games), never had any problems
2) Yes, that's how it's done
Thanks for all your answers, that helped me a lot!
No problem
