5ghz Wi-Fi is not displayed?

Hi, I just changed my 5ghz WLAN name so I can use it separately. Unfortunately I have the problem that I can see it with my iPhone and connect, but it is invisible on my laptop in the available networks. The distance is the same.

Hopefully someone can help me. I have a speedport Smart 2 if that should help.

It may be that your laptop does not conform to the WLAN standard.

If your laptop does not support "IEEE 802.11a" (just google or sometimes it's on your laptop's glue) you will not find it.

I have a 2.4Ghz Wi-Fi and a 5Ghz Wi-Fi at home and my mom's laptop only sees the 2.4Ghz
