I have had a laptop for a long time and am actually very satisfied. However, when I put my laptop on my desk pad, it gets hot pretty quickly and the fan starts up (when surfing the Internet normally). I think it's because of the document. Does anyone have an idea what you can use for a desk pad that is not?
There are special holders for laptops. You could get one like that. Some also have fans built in. I don't know if they bring anything but I think so
What are they called?
There are so-called laptop coolers, which are placed under the laptop.
They then help cool the laptop. Then it doesn't get that hot and doesn't spin up.
Enter laptop cooler on Amazon, then you will get more than enough.
So with newer laptops, something doesn't work. I still have an old one, which is surprisingly useful.
Time away from the laptop cooler thought, if your laptop does not get too hot, it should be enough to have a smooth surface made of hard plastic or metal (coated wood should also work). If you already have this, you can either place something under the rear end of the laptop so that the laptop is tilted forward and the air can circulate under the laptop. But be careful not to cover any ventilation slots with the object you put underneath (can be a piece of wood, an eraser, a note booklet, etc.)
I can't agree I have a Lenovo Yoga 920 (best equipment and the cooling pad also brings something, but additional fan is "noise")
When it gets hot, it is 99% because it needs to be cleaned. Nothing else helps. Because something like that
in front of the fan. The warm air bounces off and heat builds up. The dust mat can't be vacuumed away from the outside.
Simply laptop / notebook holder / stand. There are thousands of different ones. Some are there to use the laptop as a screen and ne external keyboard and others only lift the laptop a little or have fans in it or something. You will surely find something there.
