A question how good does the laptop actually have to be so that I can definitely play age of empires 2 & 3 edition fluently

Not really good, you probably don't even need a graphics card. 4 GB RAM would be enough
Aoe 2 runs on its dual core and its GPU from 2010.
The Aoe 3 definitely edition unfortunately needs a lot of power. That runs with its 1060 only on medium.
Could you recommend a laptop that would be good and not so expensive?
